Residence Community Standards definition

Residence Community Standards means the expectations appended to this Agreement and posted on the University of Calgary Residence Services website, as updated from time to time. The Residence Community Standards form part of this Agreement.

Examples of Residence Community Standards in a sentence

  • The University reserves the right to assign individual and/or community financial, disciplinary or educational sanctions for resident misconduct, as determined by Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Laws and Regulations, the University of Toronto Code of Student Conduct, the Residence Community Standards, and any other University policy applicable in the circumstances.

  • The Resident acknowledges that all rules, regulations and procedures outlined in this agreement and in the Residence Community Standards which can be found at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇/residence/1037/residence-community-standards as amended from time to time, including those pertaining to Food Services, shall be in full force and shall bind the Resident.

  • The University may terminate this agreement if you breach this Agreement or any terms incorporated by reference into this Agreement, such as the Residence Community Standards, effective immediately upon written notice to you or as specified in the written notice.

  • Policy on cannabis smoking, possession and cultivation are available in the Residence Community Standards.

  • If you choose to be part of a group that is violating Residence Community Standards and regulations you may collectively and individually be held responsible for the violation.

  • Violation, or actions that contribute to or facilitate the violation, of any of the following regulations are a breach of this Contract and may result in action on behalf of the University under any University of Victoria policy concerning: non‐academic student misconduct (as issued, amended or replaced from time to time); Residence Community Standards action; eviction from Residence Complex; and/or other actions described in Section 1 above and the following sections.

  • When an alleged violation of the Residence Contract and/or Residence Community Standards and regulations is brought to the attention of Residence Life and Education staff, they are responsible for ensuring that the incident is addressed with the resident.

  • The University will not accept ignorance, anger, alcohol or substance use as an excuse, reason, or rationale for violating Residence Community Standards.

  • The Residence Community Standards Policy and House Rules, as made, amended or supplemented by the Landlord from time to time, are incorporated by reference as part of this Residence Agreement and are enforceable as part of this Residence Agreement.

  • By agreeing to this Residence Agreement, the Resident acknowledges that it is the Resident’s responsibility to become familiar with the Residence Community Standards Policy and House Rules, which are updated and published on the Residence Services website.
