Archbishop of Indianapolis means the bishop appointed from time-to-time by the Roman Catholic Pontiff and formally installed as the Archbishop of Indianapolis or such other individual as is authorized to govern the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis in the place of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Indianapolis under the Code of Canon Law.
