The City recommends the MRS Amendment is progressed as a matter of priority to achieve the intended environmental protection of Environmental Conservation land, to align with the approved Residential Precinct LSP and to provide landowners with greater certainty on the future of their land.
Reclassifying the Environmental Conservation areas as P&R Reserves will initiate the formation of a part of the ‘green link’ in the Residential Precinct LSP which has significant health benefits for surrounding residents.
