Residential Service Unit definition

Residential Service Unit. Residential Service Unit shall mean a single family residence located in the Service Area. At the sole discretion of Contract Administrator based upon location, appearance and the absence of a public or private nuisance, a small business or a multi-family residential establishment, or residential accessory establishments owned by an association or commonly by members of an association, may from time to time be considered a Residential Service Unit(s) and therefore be permitted to utilize Solid Waste Cart(s). The term Residential Service Units shall not include establishments utilizing Container(s) for the accumulation and set-out of Solid Waste regardless of the use or purpose of the establishment. A City facility utilizing a Solid Waste Cart(s) shall be deemed a Residential Service Unit.
Residential Service Unit means a Dwelling Unit for which Collection Services may be provided utilizing individual Collection Containers for each Dwelling Unit and which is not part of a multifamily residential building for which Solid Waste and Recyclables are collected in dumpsters.
Residential Service Unit means Residential Roll-out Service Units and Residential Containerized Service Units.

  • The CONTRACTOR shall collect Christmas Trees from all Residential Service Units at curbside at no additional cost to the Residential Service Unit or the TOWN on normal pickup days when the tree is placed in the Cart or on any Bulk Trash pickup day.

  • A Residential Service Unit shall be deemed occupied when either water or domestic light and power services are being supplied thereto.

  • Upon notification to CONTRACTOR by the TOWN or a Customer that a Residential Service Unit’s Recycling Container has been stolen or damaged, the CONTRACTOR upon verification shall deliver a replacement Container to such Residential Service Unit or make repairs to the Container within two (2) Work Days of said notice.

  • The CONTRACTOR shall provide off-street Collection for Recyclables from Residential Service Units if (a) all adult occupants residing therein are incapable of moving their carts, (b) a written request for off-street service has been made to the CONTRACTOR by the Residential Service Unit, and (c) the request is approved by the Town Manager, in the manner required by the TOWN.

  • Each Residential Service Unit shall be entitled to two repairs or replacements of lost, destroyed, or stolen Containers within a two year period at no cost to the TOWN or the Residential Collection Service Unit.

  • The CONTRACTOR shall not collect the Recyclable Materials until the Residential Service Unit segregates the Recyclable Materials from the contaminating material.

Residential Service Unit means any Residence receiving curbside Collection Service for the accumulation and set-out of Residential Waste in the Service Area.

City, at its sole discretion, may add or delete Residential Units.
