Residential telecommunications service means a telecommunications service or ancillary services provided to an individual for personal use at a residential address, including an individual dwelling unit, such as an apartment. Residential telecommunications service means the transmission of any communi- cation between a residential customer of the service and any other individual through the use of a communication system established and maintained by a radio common carrier or a telecommunications utility, both as defined in ORS 759.005.

The subcategories can also be used by a member 7 state to provide exemptions for certain subcategories of the more broadly defined terms. A 8 member state that specifically imposes tax on, or exempts from tax, local telephone or local 9 telecommunications service may define “local service” in any manner in accordance with 10 Section 327 of the Agreement, except as limited by other sections of this Agreement.

  • public telecommunications service means the transmission by electromagnetic or other means, other than by a telephone company as defined in section 4927.01 of the Revised Code, of signs, signals, writings, images, sounds, messages, or data originating in this state regardless of actual call routing.   • telecommunication service means service of any description (including electronic mail, voice mail, data services, audio text services, video text services, radio paging and cellular mobile telephone services) which is made available to users by means of any transmission or reception of signs, signals, writing, images and sounds or intelligence of any nature, by wire, radio, visual or other electromagnetic means;
