RIBA Work Stages definition

RIBA Work Stages means the eight work stages designed by the Royal Institute of British Architects as set out in the RIBA Plan of Work 2013 and “RIBA Work Stage” shall mean any one of them.

Examples of RIBA Work Stages in a sentence

  • Where the Agreed Fee Percentage is used, the Contract Charges shall be calculated in accordance with the principles set out at paragraphs 3 and 4 above A Participating Authority shall be entitled, by exception, to agree with the Service Provider, to determine the Contract Charges for any of RIBA Work Stages 2 – 7 by converting the Agreed Fee Percentage into a fixed lump sum, provided that such agreement is recorded in writing.

  • Subject to paragraph 5, to the extent the Services Ordered relate to RIBA Work Stages 5 – 7 inclusive (“the Construction Stages”) the Contract Charges shall be calculated as a percentage of the Tendered Price using the Agreed Fee Percentage Where the value of the Services is below £10,000 (“Low Value Services”), regardless of the RIBA Work Stage to which those Services relate, the Contract Charges shall be a lump sum calculated by reference to the Hourly Rates.

  • The use of market testing to be utilised if appropriate and approved by the Client; Timely and robust budget estimate and feasibility advice; Benchmarking against similar Projects where appropriate; Claims management; Insurance valuations; Risk advice and management throughout all RIBA Work Stages; Cash-flow information; ‘S’ curves.

  • Subject to paragraph 5, to the extent the Services Ordered relate to RIBA Work Stages 0 – 1 inclusive (“Feasibility”), the Contract Charges shall be a lump sum calculated by reference to the Hourly Rates.

  • Subject to paragraph 5, to the extent the Services Ordered relate to RIBA Work Stages 2 – 4 inclusive (“Design Stages”) the Contract Charges shall be calculated as a percentage of the Project Estimate using the Agreed Fee Percentage.

  • RIBA Work Stages 0 to 1 and Other Services: Where the Commissioner instructs the Consultant in writing to undertake duties other than the normal services as set out in the Schedule of Services the charges for these additional duties shall be reimbursed either as an agreed lump sum or at the hourly rates set out in the Pricing Schedule unless another method of reimbursement is separately agreed between the Consultant and the Authorised Officer.
