Safekeeper definition

Safekeeper means a person who is confined in an appropriate secure facility pursuant to this chapter but who is not subject to an order of commitment pursuant to this chapter.
Safekeeper has the meaning specified in Section 12.1(c).

  • In the case of an NGN Temporary Global Note or an NGN Permanent Global Note which has been destroyed by the Common Safekeeper, the Replacement Agent shall furnish the Issuer, upon written request, with a copy of the confirmation of destruction received by it from the Common Safekeeper.

  • The Issue and Paying Agent shall authenticate and deliver such Permanent Global Note in accordance with the terms hereof and of the relevant Temporary Global Note and, in the case of an NGN Permanent Global Note, instruct the Common Safekeeper to effectuate the Permanent Global Note.
