Salary/Wages means basic pay, special pay and personal pay plus dearness allowance and will include pension and pension equivalent of retirement benefits, in respect of a re-employed pensioner provided and to the extent the same has been taken into consideration for fixation of his basic pay.

Salary/Wages for the purposes of redeployment, VS P's and income maintenance shall mean annual salary, regular overtime and where salary sacrificing exists, the value of the substituted benefit.
