Saturated thickness definition

Saturated thickness means the thickness of an aquifer below the water table.
Saturated thickness means the vertical distance between the Water table and the base of the Groundwater Reservoir, where the pores between the solid particles are completely filled with Water.
Saturated thickness means the thickness of an aquifer measured from the water table to an essentially impermeable boundary; such boundary is typically taken to be the top of the bedrock surface.

More Definitions of Saturated thickness

Saturated thickness means the vertical distance between the water table and the base of the groundwater reservoir.
Saturated thickness means the vertical height of a hydrogeologically defined Aquifer unit in which the pore spaces are one hundred (100) percent saturated with water. For unconfined, unconsolidated Aquifers, the saturated thickness is equal to the difference in elevation between the bedrock surface and the water table.
