School Based Apprentice definition

School Based Apprentice means an officer who is undertaking an apprenticeship under a training contract while also enrolled in the Higher School Certificate.
School Based Apprentice is an Employee who is undertaking an Apprenticeship in accordance with the definition of “Apprentice” under this Agreement while also undertaking a course of secondary education.
School Based Apprentice means a national system employee who is an apprentice to whom a school-based training arrangement applies.

Examples of School Based Apprentice in a sentence

  • An individual is not eligible for Skills First subsidised training if they are: enrolled in a school (unless they are a School Based Apprentice or Trainee).

  • An individual is not eligible for government subsidised training under this Schedule 2 if the individual is: a student enrolled in a school (excluding a School Based Apprentice / Trainee), and undertaking accredited vocational education and training (VET) that has been arranged by the school.

  • NES: National Employment Standards School Based Apprentice (SBA) As defined in the Building and Construction General On-site Award 2020, Schedule C – School-based Apprentices, C.1 and C.2.

  • An individual is not eligible for government subsidised training under this Schedule if the individual is: a student enrolled in a school (excluding a School Based Apprentice / Trainee), and undertaking accredited vocational education and training (VET) that has been arranged by the school.
