Second Class Constable definition

Second Class Constable means a constable who has served for a period of at least one (1) year as a Third Class Constable and who has been recommended by the Chief of Police for reclassification to Second Class Constable and such reclassification has been approved by the Board.

Examples of Second Class Constable in a sentence

  • A member will be reclassified successfully to Third Class Constable, Second Class Constable and First Class Constable with a corresponding increase in salary in accordance with Schedule A on completion of each twelve (12) months of service from the date of employment to the classification, provided their performance and efficiency have proved satisfactory to the Chief of Police and only upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police.
