Second-class machinist definition

Second-class machinist means an employee who is engaged in operating, or setting up and operating a key setting machine or any machine enumerated in the definition of "first-class machinist", and includes an employee engaged as a pipe fitter on low pressure work but does not include an employee who is engaged as a tradesman.
Second-class machinist means an employee engaged solely in operating one or more of the following machines:- Mangling, nipping and notching, roll straightening, punching, cropping, hydraulic presses of two hundred and three tonnes pressure or under, stationary drillers, stationary reamers and tappers, cold saw, friction saw, plate-edge planers, and other machines.
Second-class machinist. (Engineering) means a worker who is engaged in operating or setting up and operating a key setting machine or any machine enumerated in the definition of "first class machinist" and includes a worker engaged as a pipe fitter on low pressure work but does not include a worker who is engaged as a tradesman.
