Selecting Carrier definition

Selecting Carrier means the carrier whose designator code is identified on the first flight segment of the passenger’s ticket at the beginning of an interline itinerary issued on a single ticket whose origin or ultimate destination is in Canada.

Selecting Carrier means the Carrier whose designator code is identified on the first flight Segment of the Passenger’s Ticket at the beginning of an interline itinerary issued on a single Ticket whose origin or ultimate destination is in Canada.

Examples of Selecting Carrier in a sentence

• Checked Baggage: When Contour is the Selecting Carrier it will select and apply its own Checked Baggage rules found in Section 16 throughout the Passenger's Interline Itinerary.

• The Selecting Carrier will: a) Select and apply its own baggage rules as set out in its tariff to the entire Interline itinerary.OR b) Select the Most Significant Carrier, as determined by IATA Resolution 302 and conditioned by the Canadian Transportation Agency, in order for that carrier’s baggage rules, as established in its tariff, to apply to the entire Interline itinerary.The carrier identified by means of (a) or (b) will be known as the Selected Carrier.

• When Air Canada is not Selecting Carrier, the Selecting Carrier shall select and apply its own baggage rules as set out in its tariff to the entire interline itinerary.

• The information provided on the E-Ticket will reflect the Baggage rules of the Selecting Carrier.

• The Selecting Carrier will: a) Select and apply its own baggage rules as set out in its tariff to the entire interline itinerary.OR b) Select the Most Significant Carrier, as determined by IATA Resolution 302 and conditioned by the Canadian Transportation Agency, in order for that carrier’s baggage rules, as established in its tariff, to apply to the entire interline itinerary.The carrier identified by means of (a) or (b) will be known as the Selected Carrier.

• The Carrier identified by Selecting Carrier will be known as the “Selected Carrier.” When Delta Air Lines is the Selecting Carrier, Delta Air Lines will select the Most Significant Carrier, as determined by IATA Resolution 302 and conditioned by the Canadian Transportation Agency, in order for that Carrier’s baggage rule, as established in its tariff, to apply to the entire interline itinerary.

• Baggage Rule Determination by Selecting Carrier: Checked Baggage The Carrier will apply the Most Significant Carrier rules, as determined by IATA Resolution 302 as conditioned by the CTA, in order for that Carrier’s Baggage rules, as established in its Tariff, to apply to the entire interline itinerary.

• Baggage Rule Determination by Selecting Carrier The Selecting Carrier will either (1) select and apply its own baggage rules as set out in its tariff to the entire interline itinerary or (2) select the Most Significant Carrier, as determined by IATA Resolution 302 and conditioned by the Canadian Transportation Agency, in order for that Carrier’s baggage rules, as established in its tariff, to apply to the entire interline itinerary.
