Selection Term definition

Selection Term means the period commencing on the Effective Date and continuing for five (5) Contract Years thereafter, unless such period is extended pursuant to Section 2.2 of the Tekmira Agreement.
Selection Term shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.1(a)(i).
Selection Term means, on an Available Target-by-Available Target basis, the period commencing on the Effective Date and ending on the earliest of (a) the expiration of the IND Option Period with respect to such Available Target, unless CELGENE has exercised the IND Option with respect to such Available Target, (b) the applicable End of Phase 1 Date with respect to such Available Target, (c) the end of the Option Term, (d) the date that such Available Target becomes a Lapsed Target, or (e) the date that such Available Target becomes a Selected Target.

  • If all 3 Inex Development Targets have not been approved for selection by the expiration of the Selection Term, the Selection Term will be extended until the earlier of (i) the date on which an aggregate of 3 such Inex Development Targets have been identified and approved for selection, and (ii) January 8, 2014.

Selection Term means, on an Available Target-by-Available Target basis, the period commencing on July 9, 2012 and ending on the earliest of (a) [**] days after the [**] filed in the United States or a Major EU Country with respect to a Development Candidate Directed to such Available Target (and if such IND does not become effective, the Selection Term shall continue until [**] or until terminated earlier pursuant to clause (b) or (c)), (b) the end of the Option Term, or (c) the date that such Available Target becomes a Selected Target.

Related to Selection Term

  • Collaboration Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Option Term means a period, if any, through which this Agreement may be or has been extended by the JBE.

  • Extension Term means the time period defined in §2.C.

  • Annual Period means each twelve (12) month period commencing on the Effective Date and, thereafter, on each anniversary of the Effective Date.

  • Extended Term shall have the meaning given such term in Section 2.4.

  • Renewal Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.

  • Operating Period for any Element of the Project shall mean the period from (and including) the COD of such Element of the Project, up to (and including) the Expiry Date and for the Project, shall mean the period from (and including) the COD of the Project, up to (and including) the Expiry Date;

In accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, in the event that the Agreement ended prior to the completion date of the research originally set, the date the Agreement ends shall be read as the research period.

  • Academic term means a division of the school year during which a course of studies is offered, and includes a semester, quarter, or single consolidated summer term as defined by the institution.

  • Three-Year Period means, with respect to a Restatement, the three completed fiscal years immediately preceding the date that the Board, a committee of the Board, or the officer or officers of the Company authorized to take such action if Board action is not required, concludes, or reasonably should have concluded, that the Company is required to prepare such Restatement, or, if earlier, the date on which a court, regulator or other legally authorized body directs the Company to prepare such Restatement. The “Three-Year Period” also includes any transition period (that results from a change in the Company’s fiscal year) within or immediately following the three completed fiscal years identified in the preceding sentence. However, a transition period between the last day of the Company’s previous fiscal year end and the first day of its new fiscal year that comprises a period of nine to 12 months shall be deemed a completed fiscal year.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Promotion Period means the period the Promotion is open, as specified in clause 5.1.

  • Development Term means the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on the earlier of (a) the Option Closing Date or (b) the date the Option terminates or expires other than by exercise.

  • Development Period means the period from the date of this Agreement until the Appointed Date;

  • Sales Year means the calendar year during which the Company sold Cigarettes in a Beneficiary State requiring the deposit of QEF Principal.

  • Election Period means the period immediately preceding the beginning of each Plan Year established by the Administrator, such period to be applied on a uniform and nondiscriminatory basis for all Employees and Participants. However, an Employee's initial Election Period shall be determined pursuant to Section 5.1.

  • Additional Term shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.2.

  • Research Program Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Project Term the period from the Operation Commencement Date to the Expiry Date or the Termination Date, whichever occurs first, which is further described in Clause 3;

  • Nomination Period means a period of time that Customer includes in a nomination for gas service.

  • License Period means the period beginning from the Commencement Date and ending on the Termination Date.

  • Program Year means the annual period beginning January 1 and ending December 31.
