Selective analysis definition

Selective analysis means the following: in relation to the issue of composition, several major studies are referred to which show a clear patterning of health disadvantage by location in Australia and other affluent nations. The implications of this patterning are then considered. In relation to context (the independent effect location has on health) various studies and meta-analyses of studies are referred, of sufficient number to show the range of sizes of contextual effects of location, and to highlight the various explanatory frameworks that have been developed to explain these effects.
