Senior Lecturer definition

Senior Lecturer a Teaching Faculty Member who has been appointed under Article 15.04 or who has been granted a Continuing Appointment through the processes of Article 19.
Senior Lecturer means a person engaged as such and employed as provided for by clause 6, Filling of Positions, to provide artistic and administrative leadership to a Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics, Drawing, Art History and Theory Department of the School or other departments as may be created.
Senior Lecturer means a member of the academic staff elevated according to the ranking of the University;

  • The Senior Lecturer or Lecturer shall have fifteen (15) days from the date of the email notification in which to accept such an offer.

  • All service in the title of Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer shall be counted toward the converted faculty member’s eligibility for promotion to Senior Lecturer/Clinical Senior Lecturer, with the stipulation that an Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer converted to Lecturer/Clinical Lecturer shall not be eligible for the title of Senior Lecturer/Clinical Senior Lecturer without at least three years of full-time-equivalent service in the rank of Lecturer/Clinical Lecturer.

  • Reappointments or appointments following promotion to Senior Lecturer will normally be three to five-year appointments.

  • Whether tenure-track or not, Professors are permitted to vote on any such case; Associate Professors are permitted to vote on promotion to Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer; and Assistant Professors and Senior Lecturers are permitted to vote on promotion to Senior Lecturers.

  • Senior Lecturers/Clinical Senior Lecturers who have completed six years of full-time- equivalent service in that title are eligible for promotion to Senior Lecturer II/Clinical Senior Lecturer II.

  • Senior Lender means each holder of a Senior Note.

  • Senior Representative means, with respect to any series of Indebtedness, the trustee, administrative agent, collateral agent, security agent or similar agent under the indenture or agreement pursuant to which such Indebtedness is issued, incurred or otherwise obtained, as the case may be, and each of their successors in such capacities.
