The Long Service Increase shall continue to be paid to the employee as long as the employee is, either a Salaried Employee or an Hourly-Paid Employee, regardless of what support staff position the employee may transfer to in the future.
In connection with any request for a Service Increase in accordance with this Section 1.10, the Parties shall in good faith negotiate the terms of an amendment to Schedule A, which amendment shall be consistent with the terms of, and the pricing methodology used for, the applicable Service.

After the date of this Agreement, a Recipient may request the Provider to decrease the volume, amount, level or frequency, as applicable, of any Service provided by a Provider (any such decrease, a “Service Decrease”) by providing a written notice to Provider; provided, however, that, after delivery of a notice of Service Decrease, the Provider shall have no obligation to agree to a subsequent request of the Recipient for a Service Increase with respect to such decreased Services.
A Board should not give undue weight to any single performance appraisal, but should note that a Meritorious Service Increase (MSI) awarded by a previous board, especially multiple MSIs awarded in an individual’s current class, is an indication that an individual has been previously judged ready for promotion.

If the Parties agree to any such Service Increase, then the Parties shall document such terms in an amendment to the applicable Schedule.
If the Recipient requests that the Provider perform a Service Increase that exceeds 150% of the Services to be performed in the manner contemplated by the SLM BankCo Business Plan or Navient Business Plan, as applicable, then the Provider shall use commercially reasonable efforts to cooperate with the Recipient to provide such Service Increase.
Service shall be offered at the time of rehire or recognized on written request by an employee for the purpose of calculating long service entitlements pursuant to Articles 12.00, 22.00, and Article 27.01, Vacation Entitlement, Long Service Increase 27.03, Supplementary Long Service Vacation (Salaried Employees).
