DP Regulator means any governmental or regulatory body or authority with responsibility for monitoring or enforcing compliance with the Data Protection Laws;
Home state regulator means, with respect to an out-of-state state bank, the bank supervisory agency of the state in which the bank is chartered.
State regulator means an agency of the state which is empowered to engage in the regulation of construction, alteration, remodeling, building, repair, and other activities subject to the codes adopted pursuant to this chapter.
Relevant Electric Retail Regulatory Authority means an entity that has jurisdiction over and establishes prices and policies for competition for providers of retail electric service to end- customers, such as the city council for a municipal utility, the governing board of a cooperative utility, the state public utility commission or any other such entity.
Insurance Regulator means, with respect to any jurisdiction, the Governmental Authority charged with the supervision of insurance companies in such jurisdiction.
Regulator means, with respect to any person, any Government Authority charged with regulating, supervising or examining such person and its Affiliates.
Insurance Regulatory Authority means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar Governmental Authority charged with regulating insurance companies or insurance holding companies, in its jurisdiction of domicile and, to the extent that it has regulatory authority over such Insurance Subsidiary, in each other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary conducts business or is licensed to conduct business.
Child abuse means any conduct that falls under the purview and reporting requirements of N.J.S.A. 9:6-8.8 et seq. and is directed toward or against a child or student, regardless of the age of the child or student.
Market Abuse Regulation means the EU Market Abuse Regulation (596/2014).
Managed care plan means a health benefit plan that either requires a covered person to use, or
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) means the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission or its duly authorized representatives.
Child Care Program means a person or business that offers child care.
NRC means the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Information Regulator means the Information Regulator as established in terms of Section 39 of POPIA;
Managed Care Program means the process that determines Medical Necessity and directs care to the most appropriate setting to provide quality care in a cost-effective manner, including Prior Authorization of certain services.
Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority means, when used with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar administrative authority or agency located in the state in which such Insurance Subsidiary is domiciled.
Primary care physician means a physician qualified to be an attending physician according to ORS 656.005(12)(b)(A) and who is a general practitioner, family practitioner, or internal medicine practitioner.
Compliance Department means the Chief Compliance Officer of Federated and those other individuals designated by him or her as responsible for implementing this Code and the Associated Procedures.
Economic abuse means any behaviour that has a substantial adverse effect on B’s ability to—
national regulatory authority means a national regulatory authority designated in accordance with Article 39(1) of Directive 2009/73/EC;
Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) means the Government Agency responsible for oversight of public procurement.

HMO means any health maintenance organization, managed care organization, any Person doing business as a health maintenance organization or managed care organization, or any Person required to qualify or be licensed as a health maintenance organization or managed care organization under applicable federal or state law (including, without limitation, HMO Regulations).
Local Mental Health Authority means a county legislative body.
