Service Tap definition
Service Tap means the opening made in the Distribution Main by which a corporation stop or tapping sleeve and valve are connected to the Water System for the attachment of the Ratepayer’s Service Line.
Service Tap means that part of the service from the water distribution main to the curb stop, which is point of connection with the customer site piping at or near the property line. “Service Tap” also includes a shut-off valve and valve box installed by the department behind the curb and at the customer end of the service tap.

The District may assess, in addition to the Service Tap and Meter Connection Fee, the actual cost of boring or cutting and replacing pavement necessary to make such connections.
If Tap Tap discovers or is of the opinion (as to which Tap Tap shall have sole discretion) that you are not legally entitled to make certain purchases through the Service, Tap Tap shall be entitled to cancel your order immediately, without notice.
