If, during any Service Visit, JCI detects a defect in any of Customer’s equipment that is not Covered Equipment under this Agreement (an “Out of Scope Defect”), JCI may (but shall have no obligation to) notify Customer of such Out of Scope Defect.
At JCI’s option, an additional fee may be charged for any false alarm or unnecessary Service Visit caused or necessitated by Customer.
Scheduled Service Visit shall mean when a Company Certified Person visit a Customer to repair the Instrument after diagnosing has taken place or to conduct a Preventive Maintenance (PM).
If the Company decides a Scheduled Service Visit is required to solve the Instrument Failure a Company Certified Person will visit the Customer's Installation Location within a defined time limit depending on the Service level.
For purposes of the response times set forth in this Section 2, the applicable response timeframe for a Service Visit shall start upon the Help Desk Personnel’s transmission of a service ticket to a service technician, and SONIFI shall be deemed to have responded to an issue upon its service technician’s arrival at the Premises (the “Response”).
