Session Border Controller definition

Session Border Controller or “SBC” is provided by us as a Managed Services nonstandard add-on feature, as further described herein under Managed Services.
Session Border Controller or “SBC” means a network function which secures voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructures while providing interworking between incompatible signaling messages and media flows (sessions) from end devices or application servers.
Session Border Controller or “SBC” means a device that: (a) uses SIP, (b) protects and regulates the IP communication flows between End Points, and (c) can be used to connect the PBX to the Business Talk.
