Sessional Faculty definition

Sessional Faculty means an employee or bargaining unit member, including faculty teaching in the MELD program, who is not an Hourly-Rated Sessional Music Faculty.

  • A Sessional Faculty Member who has taught four (4) consecutive (not concurrent) course deliveries of the same or substantially similar course shall have Right of First Refusal, to the identical or substantially similar course, if such course continues as a curriculum offering and is made available for non-regular appointment, to a maximum of three (3) sections of any three (3) credit course workload.

  • If a Sessional Faculty Member fails to maintain satisfactory performance reviews his/her Right of First Refusal shall be revoked.

  • Adjunct and Sessional Faculty Members shall receive seven percent (7%) cash payment calculated on their base stipend in lieu of benefits.

  • The Head shall ensure that each Sessional Faculty Member with a Sessional Appointment in the Department is informed of the agreed procedures.

Related to Sessional Faculty

  • Classroom teacher means a teacher subject to annual performance evaluation review under the provisions of Education Law Section 3012-c.

  • Faculty means a Faculty of the University;

  • Project Managers means the individuals identified in Section 12 of this Agreement who are authorized by TriMet and Subrecipient respectively to send and receive communications regarding this Agreement.

  • professional user shall have the meaning given it in the Regulations and Procedures for the International Registry.

  • Trainer means a dentist whose name is included in sub-part A of the first part of the dental list who employs a trainee as an assistant in accordance with paragraph 2 of this Determination;

  • Registered professional nurse means that term as defined in section 17201 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.17201.

  • Clinical nurse specialist means a registered nurse with relevant post-basic qualifications and 12 months’ experience working in the clinical area of his/her specified post-basic qualification, or a minimum of four years’ post-basic registration experience, including three years’ experience in the relevant specialist field and who satisfies the local criteria.

  • Project Team means Owner, Contractor, A/E and consultants, any separate Contractors employed by Owner, and others employed for the purpose of programming, design, and construction of the Project. The members of the Project Team will be designated in writing by Owner and may be modified from time to time in writing by Owner.

  • Team means a team affiliated to a Club, including where a Club provides more than one team in the Competition in accordance with the Rules.

  • Games Team means the New Zealand Team at the Games selected in accordance with the NZOC Selection Policy for the Games.

  • Principal Investigator means the Personnel who is identified as principally responsible for the performance and supervision of research associated with a Contract.

  • Diversional Therapist means a person who provides, facilitates and co-ordinates group and individual leisure and recreational activities. This person must be a graduate from an approved university course which includes: An Associate Diploma and Diploma of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Leisure and Health); Bachelor of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Diploma or Bachelor of Health Sciences (Leisure and Health); an Associate Diploma course in Diversional Therapy; or who has such other qualifications deemed to be equivalent (such as a Four-year degree, Master’s Degree or PhD).

  • Medical Specialist means any medical practitioner who is vocationally registered by the Medical Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in one of the approved branches of medicine and who is employed in either that branch of medicine or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.

  • Train means any configuration of Rollingstock operating as a unit on Track;

  • Professional Sports means a sport, which would remunerate a player in excess of 50% of his or her annual income as a means of their livelihood.

  • Specialist means either a physician or other health care professional who practices in a specific area other than those practiced by primary care providers, or a properly licensed, certified or registered individual health care provider whose practice is limited to rendering mental health services. For purposes of cost-share, this definition of “specialist” does not apply to dentists. BCBSAZ does not require you to obtain an authorization or referral to see a specialist.

  • Drug paraphernalia means all equipment, products, and materials of any kind, which are used for injecting, ingesting, inhaling or otherwise introducing a drug into the human body. This includes, but is not limited to, all equipment, products and materials prohibited or controlled by State or Federal laws.

  • Program Director means an individual who has complete responsibility for the day to day function of the program. The Program Director is the highest level of decision making at a local, program level.

  • Registered professional engineer means a person who is registered as a professional engineer pursuant to s. 443.04, Stats.

  • Session or “Charging Session” means the period of time during which a User uses Subscriber’s Charging Station to charge his or her electric vehicle for a continuous period of time not less than two (2) minutes commencing when a User has accessed such Charging Station and ending when such User has terminated such access.

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.

  • Joint Steering Committee or “JSC” has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Specialist Physician means a licensed physician who qualifies as an attending physician and who examines a patient at the request of the attending physician or authorized nurse practitioner to aid in evaluation of disability, diagnosis, or provide temporary specialized treatment. A specialist physician may provide specialized treatment for the compensable injury or illness and give advice or an opinion regarding the treatment being rendered, or considered, for a patient’s compensable injury.

  • Project Steering Committee or “PSC” means the committee referred to in Section I.B of Schedule 2 to this Agreement;

  • Physiotherapist means a health care professional who is registered in the part of the register maintained by the Health Professions Council under article 5 of the Health and Social Work Professions Order 2001 (establishment and maintenance of register) relating to physiotherapists and:

  • training course means a course of training or instruction provided wholly or partly by or on behalf of or in pursuance of arrangements made with, or approved by or on behalf of, Skills Development Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, a government department or the Secretary of State.
