Severance Start Date definition

Severance Start Date means the date on which you incur a “separation from service” under section 409A(a)(2)(A)(i) of the Code.
Severance Start Date means the date on which the relevant Officer incurs a “separation from service” under Section 409A(a)(2)(A)(i) of the Code.

Examples of Severance Start Date in a sentence

  • Any taxable installments of any COBRA-related severance benefits that otherwise would have been made to the Executive on or before the Severance Start Date will be paid on the Severance Start Date, and any remaining installments thereafter will be provided as specified in the Agreement.

  • Any taxable installments of any COBRA-related severance benefits that otherwise would have been made to the Executive on or before the Severance Start Date will be paid on the Severance Start Date, and any remaining installments thereafter will be provided as specified in this Agreement.

  • Any severance payments or benefits otherwise payable to the Executive during the period from the date of the Executive’s Qualified Termination through the first date severance payments become payable under this paragraph (such date, the “Severance Start Date”) will be paid in a lump sum to the Executive on the Severance Start Date, with any remaining payments to be made as provided in this Agreement.

  • Any lump sum Salary or bonus payments under Sections 3(a)(i), 3(b)(i), and 3(b)(ii) will be provided on the first regularly scheduled payroll date of the Company following the date the Release becomes effective and irrevocable (the "Severance Start Date"), subject to any delay required by Section 5(d) below.

  • Any taxable installments of any COBRA- related severance benefits that otherwise would have been made to the Executive on or before the Severance Start Date will be paid on the Severance Start Date, and any remaining installments thereafter will be provided as specified in the Agreement.

  • Any restricted stock units, performance shares, performance units, and/or similar full value awards that vest under this paragraph will be settled within ten (10) business days of the Severance Start Date (as defined below), subject to Section 5(d) of this Agreement.

  • Any lump sum Salary or bonus payments under Sections 3(a)(i), 3(b )(i), and 3(b)(ii) will be provided on the first regularly scheduled payroll date of the Company following the date the Release becomes effective and irrevocable (the "Severance Start Date"), subject to any delay required by Section 5(d) below.

  • Any restricted stock units, performance shares, performance units, and/or similar full value awards that vest under this paragraph will be settled within ten (10) business days of the Severance Start Date (as defined below).

  • A lump-sum payment equal to (i) 50% of your Base Salary (less applicable withholding taxes), plus (ii) 50% of your target annual bonus as in effect for the fiscal year in which your Non-CIC Qualifying Termination occurs (the “Target Bonus”) (less applicable withholding taxes), which will be paid on the Severance Start Date.

  • A lump-sum payment equal to (i) 25% of your Base Salary (less applicable withholding taxes), plus (ii) 25% of your target annual bonus as in effect for the fiscal year in which your Non-CIC Qualifying Termination occurs (the “Target Bonus”) (less applicable withholding taxes), which will be paid on the Severance Start Date.
