Shift Schedules. Civic Centre Recreation Complex Employees Shift schedules shall be as revised and agreed upon by the Parties to the Agreement. A copy of the shift schedule shall be supplied to all those concerned. Such employees shall be entitled to two (2) consecutive days off, to be taken at such time as may be mutually agreed upon by the Parties to the Agreement. It is agreed by the Parties that employees may exchange shifts provided that a Supervisor, or a person above the rank of Supervisor, is consulted before it is done. The hours of work are stated solely for the purpose of calculating overtime, and shall not be construed as a guarantee of any minimum nor as a restriction on any maximum number of hours to be worked.
Shift Schedules. The Shift schedules for those employees who are regularly scheduled to work on certain days and times will be posted two (2) weeks in advance of their taking effect. The shift schedules shall cover a six (6) week period and may be subject to amendment by the Employer in accordance with the Employer's commitments. No amendments will be made without prior notification within a reasonable period of time. It is understood by the parties that during the vacation period in any year, in order to maintain a continuity of treatment and care, employees may be scheduled to work shifts that would exceed twenty-four (24) hours per week, with the understanding that the scheduling in the other months of the year will adhere to the twenty-four (24) hours per week limitation. Supervisor approved work performed in excess of seven and one-half (7 hours in a day or seventy-five (75) hours in a pay period will be counted as overtime work and will be paid for at the rate of time and one-half the employee's regular rate. The Employer does not guarantee to provide employment or work for normal hours or for any other hours.

The normal hours of work are stated solely for the purpose of calculating overtime, and shall not be construed as a guarantee of any minimum nor as a restriction on any maximum number of hours to be worked. If employees are sent home during normal working hours because of maximum daily hours worked, they will be paid their normal days wages at the regular hourly rate for all normal hours not worked.

Related to Shift Schedules

  • Shift Schedule means a written statement setting forth the days and hours upon which the employees are required to work.

  • Schedules means the schedules to this Agreement;

Any term defined herein may be used in the singular or plural. “Include”, “includes” and “including” shall be deemed to be followed by “without limitation”. Except as otherwise specified or limited herein, references to any Person include the successors and assigns of such Person. References “from” or “through” any date mean, unless otherwise specified, “from and including” or “through and including”, respectively. Unless otherwise specified herein, the settlement of all payments and fundings hereunder between or among the parties hereto shall be made in lawful money of the United States and in immediately available funds. References to any statute or act shall include all related current regulations and all amendments and any successor statutes, acts and regulations. All amounts used for purposes of financial calculations required to be made herein shall be without duplication. References to any statute or act, without additional reference, shall be deemed to refer to federal statutes and acts of the United States. References to any agreement, instrument or document shall include all schedules, exhibits, annexes and other attachments thereto. As used in this Agreement, the meaning of the term “material” or the phrase “in all material respects” is intended to refer to an act, omission, violation or condition which reflects or could reasonably be expected to result in a Material Adverse Effect. References to capitalized terms that are not defined herein, but are defined in the UCC, shall have the meanings given them in the UCC. All references herein to times of day shall be references to daylight or standard time, as applicable.

  • Day-Ahead Schedule has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Special Contract Attachments means any attachment to this Contract.

  • Time Schedule means the Time Schedule for final completion of the Works or Mechanical Completion of the Plant(s)/Unit(s) as the case may be, incorporated in the Contract or as may be extended by the OWNER or Engineer-in-Charge pursuant to the provisions hereof and shall include interim time schedules set up for achieving interim/phase-wise/stage-wise progress/completion/testing/commissioning/handing over, as may be prescribed by the OWNER/Engineer-in-Charge, within the overall Time Schedule as originally envisaged or as extended.

  • Addenda/Addendum means supplemental additions, deletions, and modifications to the provisions of the RFP after the release date of the RFP.

  • Exchange Basis Schedule is defined in Section 2.02 of this Agreement.
