Shipping Guarantee definition

Shipping Guarantee means a written guarantee, issued by Royal Bank for presentation to a carrier or its agent in the case of arrival of cargo prior to the shipping documents, shall include a shipping release and a cargo release;
Shipping Guarantee means a an indemnity guarantee provided by the Bank to the shipping company on behalf of the Customer in order for the Customer to take possession of the goods prior to the receipt of all relevant shipping documents.
Shipping Guarantee means a facility where the Bank indemnifies and guarantees the shipping company for the release of goods to the Account Holder without the presentation of the original bill of lading.

Examples of Shipping Guarantee in a sentence

  • If any provisions of the Trade Service Agreement are contradictory to, or in conflict with, this Supplement and the Request for Issuing Shipping Guarantee, this Supplement and the Request for Issuing Shipping Guarantee shall prevail.

  • Such commission, which is non-refundable, shall be paid before each Shipping Guarantee can be issued.

  • In consideration of the Bank’s issuing/endorsing, at the Customer’s Request, the Shipping Guarantee and/or the Delivery Order, the Customer agrees to be bound by this terms and conditions under Shipping Guarantee Supplement (this "Supplement").

  • The issuance of any Shipping Guarantee by the Bank shall be at the discretion of the Bank and subject to any prevailing standard operating procedures of the Bank, including but not limited to, if so required by the Bank, any indemnity in form and content acceptable to the Bank to be executed by the Borrower and received by the Bank, prior to the issuance of any Shipping Guarantee.

  • Potential Operations that are eligible under the guarantee programme with the working name “Green Shipping Guarantee Programme (2015-0334)” which has been approved by the EIB and the Commission in accordance with the terms of this Agreement prior to the Starting Date, shall be treated as having been approved as Operations in accordance with the terms of this Agreement as amended and restated.

  • The Borrower shall not take any steps to prevent the Bank from making payment under any Shipping Guarantee for which a claim or demand has been made.
