Sick Leave Incentive definition

Sick Leave Incentive. Employees shall be credited with two (2) days vacation leave, contingent upon non-usage of accumulated sick leave (i.e. employee authorized one additional vacation day per six (6) months provided sick leave usage does not exceed two (2) days for that same time period.)

Examples of Sick Leave Incentive in a sentence

  • Eligible employees must elect either the CalPERS service credit conversion or the Sick Leave Incentive Program; employees may not participate under both programs.

  • Employees must elect either the Sick Leave Incentive Program or the Sick Leave Conversion to CalPERS service credit; employees may not participate under both programs.

  • Unused sick leave shall be cumulative without any maximum, but in no event shall a Member, absent other provisions of law, be paid for any unused sick leave upon termination, subject to the limitations of the Sick Leave Incentive Plan.

  • For the purpose of this section, sick leave utilized for the purpose of attending the funeral of a close friend or relative or due to the death of a member of the immediate family (up to a maximum of forty (40) hours) shall not be counted when computing the Sick Leave Incentive.

  • Employees in a regular position are eligible for the Sick Leave Incentive Program.

  • The Members are eligible to participate in a Sick Leave Incentive Plan.

Related to Sick Leave Incentive

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work by virtue of being sick or disabled or because of an accident not covered by Workers' Compensation.

  • Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.

  • Clawback Eligible Incentive Compensation means all Incentive-based Compensation Received by an Executive Officer (i) on or after the effective date of the applicable Nasdaq rules, (ii) after beginning service as an Executive Officer, (iii) who served as an Executive Officer at any time during the applicable performance period relating to any Incentive-based Compensation (whether or not such Executive Officer is serving at the time the Erroneously Awarded Compensation is required to be repaid to the Company), (iv) while the Company has a class of securities listed on a national securities exchange or a national securities association, and (v) during the applicable Clawback Period (as defined below).

  • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.
