Internal control over financial reporting means a process effected by an insurer’s board of directors, management and other personnel designed to provide reasonable assurance regarding the reliability of the financial statements, i.e., those items specified in Section 5(B)(2) through 5(B)(7) of this regulation and includes those policies and procedures that:
Certified Domestic Violence Specialist means a person who has fulfilled the requirements of certification as a Domestic Violence Specialist established by the New Jersey Association of Domestic Violence Professionals.

Compliance Costs means all reasonable out-of-pocket costs and expenses incurred by Seller and paid directly to third parties in connection with any of the obligations under Sections 3.1(j) (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting), 3.1(k) (WREGIS), 3.1(n) (Obtaining and Maintaining CEC Certification and Verification), 3.3 (Resource Adequacy), 3.4(b) (EIRP Requirements), and 10.2(b) (ERR), including registration fees, volumetric fees, license renewal fees, external consultant fees and capital costs necessary for compliance, but excluding Seller's internal administrative and staffing costs, due to a change, amendment, enactment or repeal of Law after the Execution Date which requires Seller to incur additional costs and expenses in connection with any of such obligations, in excess of the costs and expenses incurred for such obligations under the Law in effect as of the Execution Date. Compliance Costs do not include any amounts designated in the Project’s full capacity deliverability study to obtain FCDS nor any costs and expenses incurred by Seller for FCDS studies.
Certified rehabilitation means any rehabilitation of a certified historic structure
Simplified and/or aggregate billing arrangement means a billing arrangement providing additional medical gap benefits.

Simplified acquisition threshold means the dollar amount below which a district may purchase property or services using small purchase methods. Districts adopt small purchase procedures in order to expedite the purchase of items at or below the simplified acquisition threshold. The simplified acquisition threshold for procurement activities administered under federal awards is set by the FAR at 48 C.F.R. Part 2, Subpart 2.1 [see below]. The district is responsible for determining an appropriate simplified acquisition threshold based on internal controls, an evaluation of risk, and its documented procurement procedures. However, in no circumstances can this threshold exceed the dollar value established in the FAR (48 C.F.R. Part 2, Subpart 2.1) for the simplified acquisition threshold. Reporting means submission of claims data and data fields of information of a report.
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936, as amended.
Internal Control Event means a material weakness in, or fraud that involves management or other employees who have a significant role in, the Borrower’s internal controls over financial reporting, in each case as described in the Securities Laws.
Participating Certified Nurse Practitioner means a Certified Nurse Practitioner who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

Certified nurse practitioner means an ARNP educated in the disciplines of nursing who has advanced knowledge of nursing, physical and psychosocial assessment, appropriate interventions, and management of health care, and who possesses evidence of current certification by a national professional nursing association approved by the board.
Health insurance exchange means an exchange as defined in 45 C.F.R. Sec. 155.20.
Health information exchange or “HIE” shall mean the Common HIE Resources and infrastructure made available to Participants by CRISP for Permitted Purposes, as defined in Section 3.02 of the Terms and Conditions, subject to the terms of the Agreement. Common HIE Resources shall not include the technological infrastructure provided by the Direct Technology Provider for the Direct Service.
SOX means the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx Act of 2002, as amended.
