Single coat means one film coating applied to a metal surface.
Single use means products or items that are intended for one-time, one-person use and are disposed of after use on each client, including cotton swabs or balls, tissues or paper products, paper or plastic cups, gauze and sanitary coverings, razors, piercing needles, scalpel blades, stencils, ink cups, and protective gloves.
Single-family dwelling means a private residence provided with sleeping and cooking facilities intended for domestic use and in which the occupants live as a single housekeeping unit that is not part of a Multiple Dwelling;
single detached dwelling means a completely detached Building containing only one Dwelling Unit;
Single Phase Aerosol Air Freshener means an aerosol air freshener with the liquid contents in a single homogeneous phase and which does not require that the product container be shaken before use.
Single-family housing means housing accommodations designed as a residence for not more than 1 family.
Dwelling, single-family means a detached building designed for or occupied exclusively by one family.
Single-family dwelling unit means a structure that is usually occupied by just one household or family and for the purposes of this Policy is expected to generate an average of 250 gallons per day of wastewater.
Single Family is a preface that means that a Mortgage Loan is secured by a Mortgage covering real property improved by a one-, two-, three- or four-family residence.
Single Family Property A one-unit residential property.
Single Tranche means the amount of the Financing allocated to the category entitled “Single Tranche” in the table set forth in Part B of Section II of Schedule 1 to this Agreement.
Single tomogram system means a CT x-ray system which obtains x-ray transmission data during a scan to produce a single tomogram.

Notwithstanding that a dwelling unit shares one or more walls with another dwelling unit, it is a single family residence if it has direct access to a street or thoroughfare and shares neither heating facilities, hot water equipment, nor any other essential facility or service with another dwelling unit.
Open type traction battery means a type of battery requiring liquid and generating hydrogen gas released to the atmosphere.
Single Family Shared-Loss Loan means a single family one-to-four owner- occupied residential mortgage loan, excluding Home Equity Loans, that is secured by a mortgage on a one-to four family residence or stock of a cooperative housing association.
Single Certificate With respect to any Class of Certificates (other than the Class P Certificates and the Residual Certificates), a hypothetical Certificate of such Class evidencing a Percentage Interest for such Class corresponding to an initial Certificate Principal Balance or Notional Amount of $1,000. With respect to the Class P Certificates and the Residual Certificates, a hypothetical Certificate of such Class evidencing a 20% Percentage Interest in such Class.
Backup Annual Special Tax means the Special Tax of that name described in Section E.
semi-detached dwelling means a building divided vertically into two dwelling units each of which has a separate entrance and access to grade;
Single Family Shared-Loss Loans means the single family one-to-four residential mortgage loans (whether owned by the Assuming Bank or any Subsidiary) identified on Schedule 4.15A of the Purchase and Assumption Agreement.
stacked townhouse means a building, other than a townhouse or apartment building, containing at least 3 dwelling units, each dwelling unit being separated from the other vertically and/or horizontally, and each dwelling unit having an entrance to grade shared with no more than 3 other units;
Multiple Dwelling means a building containing three or more dwelling units.
Multiple-family dwelling means a property containing 5 or more residential units, including those which are occupied seasonally.
