Single Chain Antibody definition

Single Chain Antibody means a single chain polypeptide having binding affinity for an antigen and a defined amino acid sequence whereby such polypeptide comprises (i) a first polypeptide segment having a light chain variable region, (ii) a second polypeptide having a heavy chain variable region, and (iii) at least one peptide linker linking the first and second polypeptides into a single chain polypeptide.
