Site Description. Surfer’s Beach is one of San Mateo County’s most popular beaches, drawing visitors from across the region to visit the beach, surf in the ocean, or walk and bike the Coastal Trail. The beach is located adjacent to Highway 1 at the northern end of the City of Half Moon Bay, just south of Pillar Point Harbor.
