Social Development Action Plan definition

Social Development Action Plan or “SDAP” means the social development action plan for the Project, including any update thereto, prepared and submitted by JMG and cleared by ADB; and
Social Development Action Plan means a social development action plan for the Project, including any update thereto, prepared and submitted by BMG and cleared by ADB;
Social Development Action Plan and the acronym “SDAP” mean Punjab’s action plan, dated November 2009, setting out mitigation measures and a program of social development assistance (including minor infrastructure development, a seed distribution program, protection of physical cultural property and public health plans) in order to address any adverse social impacts that might originate from the Project and/or enhance the benefits derived from the Project.

Examples of Social Development Action Plan in a sentence

  • The Borrower shall ensure that MOR and the Project Company implement the Project in accordance with the Social Development Action Plan and monitor the Project’s impact on poverty with the assistance of domestic consultants, and provide annual monitoring reports to ADB during the Project implementation period.

  • The Borrower shall cause MOR and the Project Company (i) to implement the Project in accordance with the Social Development Action Plan and take all necessary actions to encourage women living in the Project area to participate in planning and implementation of the Project; and (ii) to cause the contractors involved in Project implementation to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower concerning gender equality.

  • The Borrower shall ensure that MOR and the Project Company implement the Project in accordance with the Social Development Action Plan (SDAP) and monitor the Project’s impact on poverty with the assistance of domestic consultants engaged under the Project.

  • The Borrower shall ensure that MOR and the Project Company monitor the effects of the Project on women through collection and compilation of gender-disaggregated data, where relevant, including in the Resettlement Plan, the Social Development Action Plan and the Project Performance Management System referred to in paragraph 25 below.
