Furloughed Employees definition

Furloughed Employees means Employees who have agreed with the Company to cease all work in relation to their employment for a period or periods and in relation to whom the Company has made one or more claims under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme at any time prior to Completion.

Examples of Furloughed Employees in a sentence

  • For the avoidance of doubt, effective as of the Distribution Date, all VS Furloughed Employees shall be employed by a member of the VS Group and shall constitute a VS Employee for all purposes of this Agreement and, to the extent applicable, upon such employee’s return to active service following the end of the applicable furlough period, such VS Furloughed Employee shall commence employment with a member of the VS Group.

  • Furloughed Employees currently eligible for health benefits will maintain benefits.

  • Furloughed Employees shall have preference over permanent bids for any vacancies in their classifications.

  • Furloughed Employees who have expressed the desire to work and who successfully receive a holiday assignment are subject to all the employment and payroll rules of other non-furloughed Employees also scheduled to work and should they fail to report to their assignment, the fact that they are on furlough will not be an acceptable excuse.

  • Effective March 14, 2021 through September 6, 2021, through the continued application of furlough days, bargaining unit members (Furloughed Employees) will experience an hours reduction of between twenty and forty percent (20% - 40%), depending on the availability of work related to their positions, and, if eligible, participate in the Work Share Oregon program.

  • During the furlough period, Furloughed Employees will continue to receive eligible accruals on a full-time basis and retirement contributions on a prorated basis.

  • Furloughed Employees will be returned to service in seniority order.
