SF1-4 Intrinsic Loss Estimate means total losses under this Single Family Shared-Loss Agreement in the amount of eleven million dollars ($11,000,000.00).
Intrinsic Loss Estimate means total losses under the shared loss agreements in the amount of One hundred Sixty-eight million dollars ($168,000,000.00).
Total Intrinsic Loss Estimate means the sum of the SF1-4 Intrinsic Loss Estimate in the Single Family Shared-Loss Agreement, and the Commercial Intrinsic Loss Estimate in the Commercial Shared-Loss Agreement, expressed in dollars.
Liquidated Loan Loss With respect to any Distribution Date, the aggregate of the amount of losses with respect to each Mortgage Loan which became a Liquidated Loan during the Applicable Unscheduled Principal Receipt Period with respect to Full Unscheduled Principal Receipts for such Distribution Date, equal to the excess of (i) the unpaid principal balance of each such Liquidated Loan, plus accrued interest thereon in accordance with the amortization schedule at the time applicable thereto at the applicable Net Mortgage Interest Rate from the Due Date as to which interest was last paid with respect thereto through the last day of the month preceding the month in which such Distribution Date occurs, over (ii) Net Liquidation Proceeds with respect to such Liquidated Loan.
Operating Loss means a negative Operating Profit.
Excess Fraud Loss Any Fraud Loss, or portion thereof, which exceeds the then applicable Fraud Loss Amount.
Total Loss Proceeds means the proceeds of any insurance or any compensation or similar payment arising in respect of a Total Loss.
Economic loss means any economic detriment suffered by a victim as a direct and proximate result of the commission of an offense and includes any loss of income due to lost time at work because of any injury caused to the victim, and any property loss, medical cost, or funeral expense incurred as a result of the commission of the offense. "Economic loss" does not include
Cram Down Loss means, with respect to any Receivable (other than a Defaulted Receivable) as to which any court in any bankruptcy, insolvency or other similar Proceeding issues an order reducing the principal amount to be paid on such Receivable or otherwise modifies any payment terms with respect thereto, an amount equal to the amount of the principal reduction ordered by such court. A “Cram Down Loss” will be deemed to have occurred on the date of issuance of such court’s order.
Monthly Loss Amount means the sum of all Foreclosure Losses, Restructuring Losses, Short Sale Losses, Portfolio Losses, Modification Default Losses and Deficient Losses realized by the Assuming Institution for any Shared Loss Month.
Loan Loss Reserves means funds held by the Seller to cover potential losses in connection with the mortgage loans owned in the Seller’s portfolio, including without limitation any amounts required to be maintained and held as a loan loss reserve in accordance with GAAP and any other regulatory requirement applicable to the Seller.
Data Loss Event means any event that results, or may result, in unauthorised access to Personal Data held by the Contractor under this Agreement, and/or actual or potential loss and/or destruction of Personal Data in breach of this Agreement, including any Personal Data Breach.
Recovery Quarter has the meaning provided in Section 2.1(a)(ii) of this Commercial Shared-Loss Agreement.
Salvage value means the amount received for property retired, less any expenses incurred in connection with the sale or in preparing the property for sale, or, if retained, the amount at which the material recoverable is chargeable to materials and supplies, or other appropriate account.
Excess Loss The amount of any (i) Fraud Loss realized after the Fraud Loss Coverage Termination Date, (ii) Special Hazard Loss realized after the Special Hazard Coverage Termination Date or (iii) Bankruptcy Loss realized after the Bankruptcy Coverage Termination Date.
Allocated Loss Adjustment Expenses or “ALAE” means all court costs and court expenses; pre- and post-judgement interest; fees for service of process; attorneys’ fees; cost of undercover operative and detective services, costs of employing experts; costs for legal transcripts; costs for copies of any public records; costs of depositions and court-reported or recorded statements; costs and expenses of subrogation; and any similar fee, cost or expense reasonably chargeable to the investigation, negotiation, settlement or defense of a loss or a claim or suit against you, or to the protection and perfection of your or our subrogation rights.
Final Shared-Loss Recovery Month means the calendar month in which the tenth anniversary of the Commencement Date occurs.
Net operating loss means a loss incurred by a person in the operation of a trade or business. "Net operating loss" does not include unutilized losses resulting from basis limitations, at-risk limitations, or passive activity loss limitations.
Loss Ratio means the ratio (expressed as a percentage) of the total amount of losses on claims associated with insurance policies incurred during a specified period to premiums earned during such period. The loss ratio is a key measure of underwriting profitability and the quality of the insurance portfolio and is used for comparisons to industry benchmarks and internal targets.

Residual Loss means any item of gain or loss, as the case may be, of the Partnership recognized for federal income tax purposes resulting from a sale, exchange or other disposition of a Contributed Property or Adjusted Property, to the extent such item of gain or loss is not allocated pursuant to Section 6.2(b)(i)(A) or 6.2(b)(ii)(A), respectively, to eliminate Book-Tax Disparities.
Loss Adjustment Expense means costs and expenses incurred by the Company in connection with the investigation, appraisal, adjustment, settlement, litigation, defense or appeal of a specific claim or loss, or alleged loss, including but not limited to:
Stipulated Loss Value is the value of each unit of Hardware at various times during the Lease as specified in the applicable Schedule; however, in no event will the Stipulated Loss Value of a Hardware unit exceed its fair market value.
Day-ahead Loss Price means the Loss Price resulting from the Day-ahead Energy Market.
Settlement Costs means all costs incurred by the Settlement Class and their attorneys, including but not limited to Plaintiffs’ attorneys’ fees, their costs of suit, Plaintiffs’ expert or consultant fees, any incentive payments paid to the Class Representatives, notice costs, costs of Claims Administration, and all other costs of administering the settlement.
Fraud Loss A Liquidated Loan Loss as to which there was fraud in the origination of such Mortgage Loan.
