Source Separated Recycling definition

Source Separated Recycling means recyclable material that is separated by the customer and placed into containers designated for recycling single specific types of recoverable materials, including construction and demolition debris. The containers must have less than five percent (5%) contamination to be considered source separated and qualify for the three percent (3%) of gross xxxxxxxx NEF Fee level.
Source Separated Recycling means a process that: (1) separates recyclable material from waste, before the point of collection of such material, by requiring that recyclable material be placed in designated recycling containers, and (2) keeps recyclable material separate from waste until the recyclable material can be returned to the economic mainstream as new, used or reconstituted products.
Source Separated Recycling means recyclable materials separated by type as defined in this Bylaw so they can be recycled.

  • The operations listed in subsection (a) of this section are subject to the general requirements found in §332.4 of this title (relating to General Requirements), and the requirements set forth in this subchapter, the requirements set forth in Subchapters E - G of this chapter (relating to Source- Separated Recycling; Household Hazardous Waste Collection; and End-Product Standards), and the air quality requirements set forth in §332.8 of this title (relating to Air Quality Requirements).

  • Source Separated Recycling Facility - means a Recycling, material recovery or re-use facility that is fully licensed, certified and eligible under federal, state and local laws and regulations, and includes those material recovery or reuse facilities or operations that receive, process and transfer to market Recyclable and/or Compostable Materials that have been Source Separated from the Solid Waste stream.

  • All Source Separated Recyclable Materials Collected as a result of performing Residential Source Separated Recycling Collection Services shall be delivered to thea Material Recycling Facility.

  • Recycling means the series of activities by which materials that are no longer useful to the generator are collected, sorted, processed, and converted into raw materials and used in the production of new products. This definition excludes the use of these materials as a fuel substitute or for energy production.

  • Flexible vinyl adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond flexible vinyl to substrates. Flexible vinyl means a nonrigid polyvinyl chloride plastic with at least five percent, by weight, of plasticizer content. A plasticizer is a material, such as a high boiling point organic solvent, that is incorporated into a vinyl to increase its flexibility, workability, or distensibility, and may be determined using ASTM Method E260-91 or from product formulation data.

  • Wastewater treatment plant means a facility designed and constructed to receive, treat, or store waterborne or liquid wastes.

  • Polyolefin adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polyolefins to substrates.

  • Tobacco product means any substance containing tobacco leaf, including but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, hookah tobacco, snuff, chewing tobacco, dipping tobacco, bidis, blunts, clove cigarettes, or any other preparation of tobacco; and any product or formulation of matter containing biologically active amounts of nicotine that is manufactured, sold, offered for sale, or otherwise distributed with the expectation that the product or matter will be introduced into the human body by inhalation; but does not include any cessation product specifically approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in treating nicotine or tobacco dependence.

  • Nutrient management plan means a plan developed or approved by the Department of Conservation and Recreation that requires proper storage, treatment and management of poultry waste, including dry litter, and limits accumulation of excess nutrients in soils and leaching or discharge of nutrients into state waters.

  • COVID-19 symptoms means fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea, unless a licensed health care professional determines the person’s symptoms were caused by a known condition other than COVID-19.

  • Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.
