Special Event Service definition

Special Event Service means services requiring container and/or drop box delivery and pickup at events which serve the general public with a duration of one (1) week or less, and which are not part of a series of events sponsored by the same customer. Examples of qualifying events include Bumbershoot, Folklife and Seafair. Payment for services will include daily rental, time rates, disposal charges as well as applicable taxes.

  • The Special Events Revenue Service Plan shall define adjustments to Normal Service requirements regarding loading, Headways, trip times, and the allowance for short turning trains during Special Event Service.

  • Charges for these services will be paid to the Contractor at the hourly Special Event Service rate per the Bid Response Form.

  • During the provision of Special Event Service, the Normal Service requirements apply except as adjustments are approved by the Owner in the approved Special Events Revenue Service Plan.
