Special inspections definition

Special inspections means detailed inspections of materials, installation, fabrication, erection or placement of components and connections requiring special expertise to ensure compliance with construction documents and referenced standards as per Section 1704 of the NC State Building Code.
Special inspections means any inspection conducted which is not routine, and is out of the ordinary. This shall include but not be limited to inspections to resolve court cases, inspections of code violations in Food Establishments, Markets, Restaurants, etc., inspections of construction projects or any inspection conducted outside normal working hours of the Health Department.
