Specially Funded Program. Teacher shall mean all teachers who do not have regular contract teacher status in the District immediately prior to being hired to staff special programs that are funded by agencies other than the District. Specially funded program teachers are covered by this Agreement and are eligible for fringe benefits. Any discontinuance or curtailment of funds by the program's funding agency shall constitute the discontinuance of a particular service (i.e. program) within the meaning of Section 53A-8a-505 Utah Code, justifying the nonrenewal of employment contracts for the teachers in that program as a necessary staff reduction.
