  • Any portion of the Member’s travel ticket which is unused due to an emergency evacuation or repatriation organised by Specialty Emergency Services shall be surrendered to Specialty Emergency Services as soon as possible to enable Specialty Emergency Services to claim for its account any refund which may be due.

  • In the event of the Member being covered by any other medical or applicable insurance, then the Member shall be obliged in the first instance to claim against such insurance and Specialty Emergency Services shall only be liable in respect of such amounts which exceed the cover provided by such insurance and up to the Benefit Limits stated in the Membership Schedule.

  • Specialty Emergency Services will pay a cash funeral benefit, up to the limits determined in the Table of Benefits.

  • Specialty Emergency Services reserves the right to alter the excess deductible, which will depend upon the condition for which the Member seeks treatment.

  • Specialty Emergency Services will not cover any form of medical negligence claim that is not covered by the indemnity insurance.

  • The following Services shall be rendered and/or provided by Specialty Emergency Services at its sole discretion, upon the occurrence of a Medical Condition befalling the Member, up to the limits provided for in this Agreement.

  • Emergency services means police, fire, ambulance, rescue, and medical services.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

Mail Administrator your original repair bill along with the technician’s report and a copy of the Agreement to the address at the top of this Agreement for reimbursement. Failure to furnish such notice or proof within the time required by this Agreement does not invalidate or reduce a claim. A ten percent (10%) penalty per month shall be applied to refunds not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days of receipt of returned Service Agreement. If Administrator fails to provide, or reimburse or pay for, a service that is covered under this Agreement within sixty-one (61) days after You provide proof of loss, or if the Administrator becomes insolvent or otherwise financially impaired, You may file a claim directly with the Insurer for reimbursement, payment, or provision of the service. If Your cancellation request is made more than thirty (30) days from the date of purchase, You will receive a pro-rata refund of the Agreement purchase price, less the cost of repairs made (if any), and less an administrative fee to not exceed $50.00 or ten percent (10%) of the purchase price whichever is less.

  • Emergency Care means management for an illness or injury which results in symptoms which occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate care by a medical practitioner to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the insured person’s health.

  • Emergency Energy means energy supplied from Operating Reserve or electrical generation available for sale in New York or PJM or available from another Balancing Authority Area. Emergency Energy may be provided in cases of sudden and unforeseen outages of generating units, transmission lines or other equipment, or to meet other sudden and unforeseen circumstances such as forecast errors, or to provide sufficient Operating Reserve. Emergency Energy is provided pursuant to this Agreement and the Inter Control Area Transactions Agreement dated May 1, 2000 and priced according to Section 35.6.4 of this Agreement and said Inter Control Area Transactions Agreement.

  • Emergency medical technician means a person who is either an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-P (paramedic), and possesses a valid certificate or license in accordance with the standards of Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code.

  • Cemetery services means cremations, grave openings and closings, and installation of grave memorials.

  • Health and Human Services or “HHS” includes HHSC and DSHS.

  • Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.

  • Emergency management means lessening the effects of, preparations for, operations during, and recovery from natural, technological or human-caused disasters. These actions are broad in scope and include, but are not limited to: disaster plans, mitigation, preparedness, response, warning, emergency operations, training, exercising, research, rehabilitation, and recovery activities.
