Specified Currency Equivalent definition

Specified Currency Equivalent means with respect to any amount in Dollars on any date, the amount of relevant Specified Currency that could be purchased with such amount of Dollars using the reciprocal of the foreign exchange rate specified in the definition ofDollar Equivalent”, as determined by the Administrative Agent in its discretion in accordance with Section 1.6 on the basis of the applicable Exchange Rate, such determinations to be conclusive and binding on the parties in the absence of manifest error.
Specified Currency Equivalent means, in respect of a Share of the Underlying Fund and an Underlying Currency price or amount, such Underlying Currency price or amount divided by the rate of exchange of the Underlying Currency for the Specified Currency (expressed as the number of Underlying Currency per Specified Currency) as (i) the offer rate of exchange (as aforesaid) as displayed on the Reuters Screen related to the relevant Underlying Currency at approximately 11:00 a.m. local time in London on the day two (2) Currency Business Days prior to the related Valuation Date, Determination Date or Fund Application Date (as applicable); except that the rate of exchange for determining the Underlying Fund Value final, shall be the relevant rate of exchange (as aforesaid) that the Calculation Agent shall determine would be available to the Issuer or its Affiliate in the market at the relevant time;

  • Alternate Currency Equivalent means, at any time, with respect to any amount denominated in Dollars, the equivalent amount thereof in the applicable Alternate Currency as determined by the Administrative Agent or the applicable Issuing Bank, as the case may be, at such time on the basis of the Spot Rate (determined in respect of the most recent Revaluation Date) for the purchase of such Alternate Currency with Dollars.

  • Termination Currency Equivalent means, in respect of any amount denominated in the Termination Currency, such Termination Currency amount and, in respect of any amount denominated in a currency other than the Termination Currency (the "Other Currency"), the amount in the Termination Currency determined by the party making the relevant determination as being required to purchase such amount of such Other Currency as at the relevant Early Termination Date, or, if the relevant Market Quotation or Loss (as the case may be), is determined as of a later date, that later date, with the Termination Currency at the rate equal to the spot exchange rate of the foreign exchange agent (selected as provided below) for the purchase of such Other Currency with the Termination Currency at or about 11:00 a.m. (in the city in which such foreign exchange agent is located) on such date as would be customary for the determination of such a rate for the purchase of such Other Currency for value on the relevant Early Termination Date or that later date. The foreign exchange agent will, if only one party is obliged to make a determination under Section 6(e), be selected in good faith by that party and otherwise will be agreed by the parties.

  • Party A Currency Amount In respect of each Party A Calculation Period, an amount in Dollars equal to the principal amount outstanding of the Relevant Notes on the first day of such Calculation Period (after taking into account any redemption on such day).

  • RMB Currency Events means any one of RMB Illiquidity, RMB Non-Transferability and RMB Inconvertibility;

  • Domestic Currency means the currency specified as such and any successor currency. If no currency is so specified, the Domestic Currency shall be the lawful currency and any successor currency of (i) the relevant Reference Entity, if the Reference Entity is a Sovereign, or (ii) the jurisdiction in which the relevant Reference Entity is organised, if the Reference Entity is not a Sovereign. In no event shall Domestic Currency include any successor currency if such successor currency is the lawful currency of any of Canada, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the United States of America or the euro (or any successor currency to any such currency).

  • Euro Equivalent means, at any time, with respect to any amount denominated in Dollars, the equivalent amount thereof in Euros as determined by the Administrative Agent or the L/C Issuer, as the case may be, at such time on the basis of the Spot Rate (determined in respect of the most recent Revaluation Date) for the purchase of Euros with Dollars.

  • Reference Currency means the currency specified as such in the applicable Final Terms.

  • Alternate Currency means (i) with respect to any Letter of Credit, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pound Sterling, Swiss Francs, Mexican Pesos, Australian Dollars and any other currency other than Dollars as may be acceptable to the Administrative Agent and the Issuing Bank with respect thereto in their sole discretion and (ii) with respect to any Loan, any currency other than Dollars that is approved in accordance with Section 1.05.

  • Approved Currency means each of Dollars and each Alternate Currency.

  • Primary Currency has the meaning specified in Section 9.11(c).

  • Canadian Dollar Equivalent of any amount which is expressed in United States Dollars means, on any date, the Canadian dollar equivalent of such amount determined by multiplying such amount by the U.S. - Canadian Exchange Rate in effect on such date;

  • Dollar Equivalent Amount means (i) with respect to any amount of Alternate Currency on any day, the equivalent amount in Dollars of such amount of Alternate Currency as determined by the Administrative Agent using the applicable Exchange Rate on such day and (ii) with respect to any amount of Dollars, such amount.

  • Underlying Currency means the Underlying Currency as specified in § 2 of the Product and Underlying Data.

  • Balance Currency means the currency that the trading account is denominated in and all charges including spreads, commissions and swaps, are calculated in that currency.

  • Dollar Equivalent means, at any time, (a) with respect to any amount denominated in Dollars, such amount, and (b) with respect to any amount denominated in any Alternative Currency, the equivalent amount thereof in Dollars as determined by the Administrative Agent or the L/C Issuer, as the case may be, at such time on the basis of the Spot Rate (determined in respect of the most recent Revaluation Date) for the purchase of Dollars with such Alternative Currency.

  • Base Currency means the first currency in the Currency Pair against which the Client buys or sells the Quote Currency.

  • Original Dollar Amount means the amount of any Obligation denominated in U.S. Dollars and, in relation to any Loan denominated in an Alternative Currency, the U.S. Dollar Equivalent of such Loan on the day it is advanced or continued for an Interest Period.

  • Foreign Currency Sublimit means $100,000,000.
