Staff Meetings definition

Staff Meetings are directed by the site administrator for the purpose of managing the site and curriculum. Staff meetings also include grade level or collaboration meetings. The site administrator has the sole discretion to determine the agenda and the manner in which items are added to or removed from the agenda. The site administrator also has the sole discretion to determine how staff meetings are scheduled and run. Staff meetings are generally held on Tuesday but may also be held at other times within the sole discretion of the site administrator.
Staff Meetings. Staff meetings, whether in the store or off the premises, shall be considered as time worked and paid for at straight time rates, except dinner meetings at which the attendance is voluntary. Such dinner meetings in excess of three (3) during each contract year shall be considered as time worked and paid for at straight time rates.
Staff Meetings defined as consisting of administrators, faculty, and support staff, meet for the first day of the new school year, or will be held for emergency purposes only to disseminate pertinent information.

Examples of Staff Meetings in a sentence

  • Staff Meetings Meetings called by the site administrator which occur within the unit member's work week and which deal with items related to unit members' instructional or adjunct responsibilities, or to the safe, sound and efficient operation of the school.

  • Employees required by the Employer to attend Staff Meetings, Graduation Ceremonies, Christmas Concerts and Parent-Teacher Interviews will receive paid time off in lieu for the hours worked.

  • When the Employer holds its regularly scheduled All Staff Meetings at the facility, a Union Representative or Advocate shall be allowed to address the Bargaining Unit for up to ten (10) minutes when possible.
