Standard Supply Service definition

Standard Supply Service. (“SSS”) means the service approved by the Board and in effect at the relevant time, which, among other things, establishes the minimum conditions that a distributor must meet in carrying out its obligations to sell electricity under section 29 of the Electricity Act.
Standard Supply Service means the manner in which a distributor must fulfill its obligation to sell electricity under section 29 of the Electricity Act or to give effect to rates determined by the Board under section 79.16 of the Act as set out in this Code;
Standard Supply Service means the sale of electricity in accordance with the provisions of section 29 of the Electricity Act, 1998;

  • Disputes arising from charges relating to Standard Supply Service shall be directed to the Distributor.

More Definitions of Standard Supply Service

Standard Supply Service means customers have not chosen to sign a contract with a licensed retailer and Tillsonburg Hydro, as required by the OEB, will provide the commodity (electricity) at wholesale market prices.

Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. may require a security deposit for service based on each meter connection connected to Tillsonburg Hydro Inc.’s distribution system unless the customer has a ‘Good payment history’. Any one of the following forms of payment of a security deposit will be accepted by Tillsonburg Hydro Inc.:
