STATE ACCEPTANCE. All insurance providers are subject to Agency acceptance. If requested by Agency, Grantee shall provide complete copies of insurance policies, endorsements, self-insurance documents and related insurance documents to Agency's representatives responsible for verification of the insurance coverages required under this Exhibit C. Additional Coverages That May Apply:

Related to STATE ACCEPTANCE

  • State means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.

  • City means the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

  • Governmental Authority means the government of the United States or any other nation, or of any political subdivision thereof, whether state or local, and any agency, authority, instrumentality, regulatory body, court, central bank or other entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, taxing, regulatory or administrative powers or functions of or pertaining to government (including any supra-national bodies such as the European Union or the European Central Bank).

  • Order means an official written order issued for the supply of goods or works or the rendering of a service.

  • Code means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.

  • Site means the place or places where the permanent Works are to be carried out including workshops where the same is being prepared.

  • Business Day means any day except any Saturday, any Sunday, any day which is a federal legal holiday in the United States or any day on which banking institutions in the State of New York are authorized or required by law or other governmental action to close.

  • Plan means any employee pension benefit plan (other than a Multiemployer Plan) subject to the provisions of Title IV of ERISA or Section 412 of the Code or Section 302 of ERISA, and in respect of which the Borrower or any ERISA Affiliate is (or, if such plan were terminated, would under Section 4069 of ERISA be deemed to be) an “employer” as defined in Section 3(5) of ERISA.

  • Participant has the meaning specified in Section 10.06(d).

  • Government means the Government of Kenya;

  • Applicant shall have the meaning given to such term in Section 5.10.

  • Effective Date has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • Contract Price means the price payable to the supplier under the contract for the full and proper performance of his contractual obligations.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Operator means the operator of an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application with actual knowledge that the site, service, or application is used for K–12 school purposes. Any entity that operates an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application that has entered into a signed, written agreement with an LEA to provide a service to that LEA shall be considered an “operator” for the purposes of this section.

  • Contract means the written agreement entered into between the purchaser and the supplier, as recorded in the contract form signed by the parties, including all attachments and appendices thereto and all documents incorporated by reference therein.

  • Commissioner means the commissioner of insurance.

  • Department means the department of health.

  • the Act means the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 (Act No. 5 of 2000).

  • tender means a written offer in the form determined by an organ of state in response to an invitation to provide goods or services through price quotations, competitive tendering process or any other method envisaged in legislation;

  • Day means calendar day.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Fraudulent practice means a misrepresentation of facts in order to influence a procurement process or the execution of a contract to the detriment of the Procuring Entity, and includes collusive practices among Bidders (prior to or after bid submission) designed to establish bid prices at artificial, non-competitive levels and to deprive the Procuring Entity of the benefits of free and open competition.

  • Authority means any governmental, regulatory or administrative body, agency or authority, any court or judicial authority, any arbitrator, or any public, private or industry regulatory authority, whether international, national, Federal, state, or local.

  • Commission means the Securities and Exchange Commission.

  • Note The signature to this Assignment Form must correspond with the name as it appears on the face of the Warrant, without alteration or enlargement or any change whatsoever, and must be guaranteed by a bank or trust company. Officers of corporations and those acting in a fiduciary or other representative capacity should file proper evidence of authority to assign the foregoing Warrant.
