  • State of Florida data means data collected by, transmitted from, created for, or provided by the Department or the Customer. The Contractor will not allow any State of Florida data to be sent by any medium, transmitted, or accessed outside the United States due to Contractor’s action or inaction. The Contractor will also comply with all HIPAA requirements and any other current state and federal rules and regulations regarding security of information.

  • Operator means the operator of an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application with actual knowledge that the site, service, or application is used for K–12 school purposes. Any entity that operates an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application that has entered into a signed, written agreement with an LEA to provide a service to that LEA shall be considered an “operator” for the purposes of this section.
