The contract of motor insurance is made up of the following which should be read together:• this booklet and Your Schedule, which form one document,• the Certificate of Motor Insurance, and• the information You gave to Us in the Proposal Form that You signed, or in the Statement of Fact document.
The insurer will only provide you with the cover set out in this policy if: • you and anyone else claiming cover under this policy has kept to all the terms and conditions of thepolicy; and• the information you gave on your Statement of Fact or claims report is true and complete.If the insurer discovers that you or someone acting for you had knowingly provided false information, the insurer will make the policy void and treat it as though it had never existed and not refund any premium or pay your claim.
Therefore You should ensure that any information You have provided to Us and the content of any application form, declaration and / or Statement of Fact is accurate and complete.
Material information includes special or unusual facts concerning You or Your Business, any particular concerns You may have which have led You to seek or increase Your insurance cover and any other facts relevant to the risk taken by Us. You should assume that all information specifically sought by Us is material, whether in a Statement of Fact, Proposal Form or otherwise.
This Policy has been issued to the Insured based on the information supplied about the Insured the Business and the insured’s property in the Statement of Fact or Proposal Form and other material information declared which forms the basis of the contract between yourself and the Insurers.
