Streetscape Improvements definition

Streetscape Improvements means the streetscape improvements in the public right-of-way adjacent to the 000 Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx Parcel and the bridge over Temple Street, if built and include (i) public sidewalks, (ii) backfill to be installed under the public sidewalks,
Streetscape Improvements means the following:
Streetscape Improvements means those improvements to the streetscape along those boundaries of the Owner’s Site which are described in Schedule “C”;

  • The Company shall have a 323 designated Project Manager responsible for oversight of both the Engineer and the 324 Streetscape Contractor during the Construction of the Streetscape Improvements.

  • The Company shall provide Preconstruction Services 219 necessary to deliver the Construction of the Streetscape Improvements for a not-to-exceed 220 Guaranteed Maximum Streetscape Price.

  • The Streetscape Improvements shall be competitively bid through the City’s Purchasing Division or by the Redeveloper pursuant to the Redeveloper Bidding Procedures attached hereto as Exhibit E.


More Definitions of Streetscape Improvements

Streetscape Improvements means those improvements to the streetscape along those boundaries of the Site which are described in Schedule“C“ hereto;
Streetscape Improvements means streetscape improvements in the public right-of-way adjacent to the On-Site Public Improvements, including sidewalks, curbs, landscaping, and lighting as shown in Exhibit E, as approved by the City Plan Commission.
Streetscape Improvements means street-level improvements within the Grandview Yard Site, including, without limitation, trees, tree grates, lawns, curbs, sidewalks, trash receptacles, benches, newspaper racks, xxxxx, xxxxxx, xxxxxxxxx, xxxxxx and sidewalk lighting, and, if approved by the City, light poles or equivalent luminaries.
Streetscape Improvements means streetscaping improvements on all Property right-of-way frontages in accordance with specifications in the Historic Mills District Plan as amended. The Project should provide a 6 foot grass verge/boulevard with street trees and the City standard ‘acorn’ fixture and 10 foot sidewalks. The City standard ‘acorn’ fixture must also be used along 5th Avenue South and a 2 foot building setback is encouraged to enhance the pedestrian environments along 5th Avenue, or as approved by HPC/CPC, and the City Council.

Related to Streetscape Improvements

  • Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.

  • Private Improvements means the improvements to be constructed on the Property that are not Public Improvements.

  • Infrastructure Improvements means a street, road, sidewalk, parking facility, pedestrian mall, alley, bridge, sewer, sewage treatment plant, property designed to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the spread of identified soil or groundwater contamination, drainage system, waterway, waterline, water storage facility, rail line, utility line or pipeline, transit-oriented development, transit-oriented property, or other similar or related structure or improvement, together with necessary easements for the structure or improvement, owned or used by a public agency or functionally connected to similar or supporting property owned or used by a public agency, or designed and dedicated to use by, for the benefit of, or for the protection of the health, welfare, or safety of the public generally, whether or not used by a single business entity, provided that any road, street, or bridge shall be continuously open to public access and that other property shall be located in public easements or rights-of-way and sized to accommodate reasonably foreseeable development of eligible property in adjoining areas. Infrastructure improvements also include 1 or more of the following whether publicly or privately owned or operated or located on public or private property:

  • Home improvement means the remodeling, altering,

  • Licensee Improvements means any enhancement to or modification or improvement of the Licensed Patents and/or the Proprietary Information created by or on behalf of Licensee and/or any of its subsidiaries.

  • Infrastructure improvement means permanent infrastructure that is essential for the public health and safety or that:

  • Public Improvements means only the following improvements: housing facilities; garbage disposal plants; rubbish disposal plants; incinerators; transportation systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; sewage disposal systems, including sanitary sewers, combined sanitary and storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of sewage or industrial wastes; storm water systems, including storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of storm water; water supply systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with obtaining a water supply, the treatment of water, or the distribution of water; utility systems for supplying light, heat, or power, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; approved cable television systems, approved cable communication systems, or telephone systems, including plants, works,

  • Improvements means the buildings, structures, improvements, and alterations now constructed or at any time in the future constructed or placed upon the Land, including any future replacements and additions.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Substitute Improvements means the substitute or additional improvements of the Issuer described in Article V hereof.

These buildings and works may include, without limitation, bridges, dams, plants, highways, parkways, streets, subways, tunnels, sewers, mains, power lines, pumping stations, heavy generators, railways, airports, terminals, docks, piers, wharves, ways, lighthouses, buoys, jetties, breakwaters, levees, and canals, and the construction, alteration, maintenance, or repair of such buildings and works.

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Energy efficiency improvement means equipment, devices, or materials intended to decrease energy consumption, including, but not limited to, all of the following:

  • Curbside “Curb” means that portion of the right-of-way adjacent to paved or traveled roadways, including the end of a driveway, curb line or alley line. Containers will be placed as close to the roadway as practicable without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians.

  • Green building strategies means those strategies that minimize the impact of development on the environment, and enhance the health, safety and well-being of residents by producing durable, low-maintenance, resource-efficient housing while making optimum use of existing infrastructure and community services.

  • Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.

  • Interior means the spaces, parts, components or elements of an individual dwelling unit.

  • Landscape architect means a person who holds a license to practice landscape architecture in the state of California Business and Professions Code, Section 5615.

  • Public improvement means projects for construction, reconstruction or major renovation on real property by or for a public agency. “Public Works” shall mean roads, highways, buildings, structures and improvement of all types, the construction, reconstruction, major renovation or painting of which is carried on or contracted for by any public agency to serve the public interest by does not include the reconstruction or renovation of privately owned property which is leased by a public agency.
