Sub-Transmission System definition

Sub-Transmission System means the intermediate system between the Transmission System and Primary Distribution System of the Total Power System consisting of high voltage electric lines being operated at high voltage (excluding generator interconnection facilities) owned and/or operated by the Distribution Licensee for the purposes of distribution of electricity from one substation to another substation or to a consumer or from any external interconnection equipment up to the interconnection with the distribution system, and any plant and apparatus and meters owned or used by the Licensee in connection with the transmission and distribution of electricity;
Sub-Transmission System means a system related to the Distribution of electricity supplied at voltages above 13 kV, 3 wire but less than 50 kV, 3 wire;

Examples of Sub-Transmission System in a sentence

  • Third Party - Any Entity that does not Control, is not Controlled by and is not under common Control with the applicable Party; Transmission Owner - An Entity that owns, leases or otherwise possesses an interest in the portion of the NL Transmission System or NL Sub-Transmission System at the Point of Interconnection.

  • The Transmission Provider shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with such schedules at least one (1) day in advance, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the Reliability of the NL Transmission System and NL Sub-Transmission System.

  • The Interconnection Customer shall notify the Transmission Provider and Transmission Owner promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the NL Transmission System, the NL Sub-Transmission System or any Affected Systems.

  • NL Reliability Standards - The criteria, standards and requirements relating to the Reliability of the NL Transmission System and NL Sub-Transmission System which have been adopted.

  • Upon termination of this Agreement, the Generating Facility will be disconnected from the NL Transmission System and NL Sub-Transmission System.

  • Interconnection Customer – Any Entity that proposes to interconnect its Generating Facility with the NL Transmission System or NL Sub-Transmission System.

  • Interconnection Facilities – All facilities and equipment between the Generating Facility and the Point of Interconnection, including any modification, additions or upgrades that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Generating Facility to the NL Transmission System or NL Sub-Transmission System.

  • During any forced outage, the Transmission Provider may suspend Interconnection Service to effect immediate repairs on the NL Transmission System or NL Sub-Transmission System.
