Summer Recess means the time during the months of July and August when Council meets less frequently.

Summer Recess. The summer recess shall be for nine continuous weeks between May 15 and August 31 of any given calendar year in conformance with Michigan Employment Security Commission regulations to qualify for exemp- tion from eligibility for unemployment benefits. Any disputes regarding the scheduling of the nine-week period shall be referred to the Contract Administrator. In September of each academic year, 10-month employees shall be notified as to the beginning and ending date for their next summer recess. The Union shall receive a copy of said notices. Work appointments during the summer recess may be made, provided that they are mutually agreeable.

  • The University may charge a penalty to any student who fails to vacate University Housing on the dates specified by this Contract, including any Winter Recess or Summer Recess closings.

  • Students who would like to remain in their University Housing residence hall accommodations during the Winter Recess and/or Summer Recess will be required to request University Housing (via the Housing Application) in, and be assigned to, one of the residence halls designated for 12-Month Housing.

  • The Student will also be required to complete a separate Winter Recess Housing Contract and/or Summer Recess Housing Contract in order to remain in their residence hall accommodation during either recess period.

  • Where required the Custodian/Head Custodian shall work until 4 p.m. Summer Recess – Defined as commencing on the first Monday following the last school day (including teachers’ professional activity days) in June, and ending on the Friday preceding the return of the students to school.

  • If the Student is a graduating senior, they may remain in their University Housing accommodation for an additional 24 hours past this Contract’s termination date if they receive prior approval from Panther Central; • If the Student is living in a residence hall designated for 12-Month Housing, they may remain in their residence hall accommodation for Summer Recess only if they have signed a separate Summer Recess Housing Contract.

  • Students who would like to remain in a University Housing residence hall accommodation during the Winter Recess and/or Summer Recess will be required to request University Housing (via the Housing Application).

  • Make up days may be scheduled during Winter Recess, Midwinter Break, Spring Recess, Summer, or Summer Recess.

  • Except as otherwise noted, “days” in the grievance procedure shall refer to actual working school calendar days, except during the Summer Recess when “days” shall refer to the calendar days exclusive of weekends and holidays.

  • The Student will also be required to complete a separate Winter Recess Housing Contract and/or Summer Recess Housing Contract in order to remain in his/her residence hall accommodation during either recess period.

  • Residence halls to be used for Winter Recess and/or Summer Recess are subject to change and may be different than the residence hall the student is assigned to during the Fall and/or Spring semesters.

  • Post-consumer recovered material means any product used by a consumer, including a business that purchases the material, that has served its intended end use, and that has been separated or diverted from the solid waste stream for the purpose of use, reuse, or recycling.

  • Procurement Event means the request for proposals, the evaluation of proposals and bids for wholesale energy products, and the execution of the applicable supplier contracts with Ameren Illinois Company as a counterparty pursuant to the Procurement Plan for the period starting in June 2021, as proposed by the Illinois Power Agency and approved by the Illinois Commerce Commission in Docket No. 20-0717.
