Sunday Rates definition

Sunday Rates. For w ork performed on Sunday, Employees shall re­ ceive the fo llo w in g rates:
Sunday Rates. For employees hired prior to October 31, 2013 , all work performed on Sundays shall be paid at the rate of time and one-third (1-1/3) of the straight-time hourly rate. Employees hired on or October 31, 2013 shall receive $1.00 per hour over the employee’s regular straight-time wage rate for all hours worked on Sunday.

Examples of Sunday Rates in a sentence

  • Shift workers on other than continuous work for all time worked on a Sunday or holiday shall be paid at the rates prescribed by clause 27, Holiday and Sunday Rates of Pay.

  • Shift workers on other than continuous work for all time worked on a Sunday or holiday shall be paid at the rates prescribed by clause 25, Holiday and Sunday Rates of Pay, of this award.

Related to Sunday Rates

  • Working Day means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales.

  • Weekly Rate means a floating weekly interest rate on the Bonds established and adjusted in accordance with Section 2.03.

  • LIBOR Banking Day has the meaning set forth in Section 2.10(b)(1).

  • Hourly Rates means payment on the basis of hours of Contract Work as set out in the Criminal Remuneration Regulations;

  • Banking Day means each day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which the Clearing System and the Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross settlement Express Transfer-System (TARGET2) ("TARGET2") are open for business.
