Supervisory Unit definition

Supervisory Unit means the unit of supervisory employees described in the decision of the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations, dated April 28, 1976: “Petition of BART Supervisory and Professional Association for Determination of Bargaining Unit as concerns the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART).”

Examples of Supervisory Unit in a sentence

  • A temporary assignment shall not qualify as a “for first time” movement into the Supervisory Unit.

  • Participation at a labor/management meeting may be expanded upon agreement of the parties to include a State Police member from the Supervisory Unit selected by the members of that Unit when the subjects to be discussed encompass department-wide matters.

  • A joint Labor/Management Committee designated by the parties will meet periodically to discuss the State’s Supervisory Unit training program and its operations, including input on application process, scheduling of courses, special conferences and seminars and curriculum options.

  • Deputies returning to an Association position after promotion to the Supervisory Unit will be returned to the rank and pay held prior to the promotion, if the return occurs within (6) six months of the promotion.

  • There shall be a Committee of six (6) members, two (2) members selected by the WPPA Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, two (2) members selected by the WPPA Supervisory Unit, and two (2) members selected by the Sheriff.

  • State Police Lieutenants shall be eligible to participate only in the Supervisory Unit Tuition Reimbursement Program.

  • Participation is mandatory for all Safety Management & Supervisory Unit employees.

  • Up to two (2) days of Personal Leave per fiscal year shall be granted to Supervisory Unit employees, with prior supervisory approval.

  • For any pay period in which a Supervisory Unit employee’s vacation balance equals or exceeds 400 hours, the employee shall not earn any additional vacation credit.

  • At the end of the calendar year, an employee in the Supervisory Unit shall automatically have any holiday leave accruals in excess of the employee’s maximum holiday leave accrual balance converted to cash.

  • Supervisory Committee means an oversight committee elected at a general meeting;

  • Supervisory Review means ongoing clinical case reviews in accordance with procedures developed by ADMINISTRATOR, to determine the appropriateness of Diagnosis and treatment and to monitor compliance to the minimum ADMINISTRATOR and Medi-Cal charting standards. Supervisory review is conducted by the program/clinic director or designee.

  • Technical Advisory Committee means a committee established under section 12;

  • supervisory body means a functionary or institution referred to in Schedule 2;

  • Supervisory Board means the Supervisory Board of the Company.

  • Board of Supervisors means the Board of Supervisors of the County.

  • Project Management Unit and “PMU” each means the Recipient’s unit responsible for the implementation of its Respective Part of the Project referred to in Section I.A.2 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement.

  • Operating Committee means the Operating Committee of Epoch which meets frequently and is responsible for implementing the Company’s strategy, making operational decisions and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Company.

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • OPSI Advisory Committee means the committee established under Tariff, Attachment M, section III.G.

  • Medical Advisory Committee means the Medical Advisory Committee established by the Board as required by the Public Hospitals Act;

  • Contracting unit means a municipality or any board, commission, committee, authority or agency, and which has administrative jurisdiction over any district other than a school district, project, or facility, included or operating in whole or in part, within the territorial boundaries of any county or municipality which exercise functions which are appropriate for the exercise by one or more units of local government, and which has statutory power to make purchases and enter into contracts or agreements for the performance of any work or the furnishing or hiring of any materials or supplies usually required, the costs or contract price of which is to be paid with or out of public funds.

  • Project Steering Committee or “PSC” means the committee referred to in Section I.B of Schedule 2 to this Agreement;

  • Regulatory Oversight Committee means the committee of the Board constituted in accordance with Rule 204.

  • Architectural Control Committee means and refer to that committee constituted under Article 4 hereof for the review of Development Plans (as hereinafter defined) and other functions.

  • Architectural Review Committee or “ARC” shall mean the architectural review committee established by the Organization to review plans submitted to the Organization for architectural review.

  • Oversight Committee means the committee established to monitor the overall implementation of this Administrative Agreement as outlined in section 7 (Oversight Committee) of this Administrative Agreement.

  • Technical Committee means the body established in accordance with article VII;

  • District Evaluation Advisory Committee means a group created to oversee and guide the planning and implementation of the Board of Education's evaluation policies and procedures as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.3.

  • Supervisory Authority means an independent public authority which is established by an EU Member State pursuant to the GDPR.

  • Procurement Unit means the unit or department within GRDA that is responsible for administering procurement policies and procedures.

  • Management Committee means in the case of a Competition which is an unincorporated association, the management committee elected to manage the running of the Competition and where the Competition is incorporated it means the Board of Directors appointed in accordance with the articles of association of that company.

  • Banning Committee means a Committee constituted for the purpose of these guidelines by the competent authority. The members of this Committee shall not, at any stage, be connected with the tendering process under reference.

  • Management Unit means an area established by the Commission for management purposes.

  • Project Coordination Unit or “PCU” means the unit referred to in Section I.1 of Schedule 4 to this Agreement;

  • independent review committee means the independent review committee of the investment fund established under National Instrument 81-107 Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds;
