Because employees covered by this Agreement are exempt salaried status employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act, they may be periodically required to work irregular or extended hours, shifts, and/or work schedules as part of their regular duties, but the parties agree that the employees in this Supervisory Unit are not entitled to overtime pay.
The uniform policy and allowance shall be the same as the POLC Non- Supervisory Unit, with a maximum allotment of eight hundred five ($805.00) dollars.
The Employer shall allow up to one hundred (100) hours of total paid release time each year of this Agreement to unit members to attend to Police Officers Labor Council, Supervisory Unit business.
The Employer recognizes the Pine County Road and Bridge Supervisory Unit as the exclusive representative for collective bargaining purposes of all supervisory employees of Pine County, Minnesota, in the Road and Bridge Department in the Unit certified by the BMS dated June 24, 1985.
The Supervisory Unit will establish an advisory committee to meet with the Director of Personnel for the purpose of establishing guidelines for expenditure of conference funds.
All permanent employees of the Supervisory Unit are eligible to participate in the professional growth program.
In the case where a Pension meeting or official pension conference/training is scheduled during an employee’s work hours, the Town shall permit up to two (2) members of the Pension Board of Trustees (inclusive of the employees in this Supervisory Unit and employees in the Rank and File bargaining unit) to attend with no loss of pay for up to a maximum of four (4) shifts per year for 48-hour employees or 10 days (80 hours) for 40 hour employees.
