Supporting activities definition

Supporting activities means time spent under supervision of face-to-face direct services and service-related activities provided on-site or in the trainee's academic department, as well as didactic experiences, such as laboratories or seminars, directly related to such services or activities.
Supporting activities has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 2.1.

  • Motorcycling Activities means performing or participating in any capacity in any authorised or recognised Motorcycling Organisation event, meeting or activity;

  • Competing Activity means the providing of services or performance of activities for a Competitive Enterprise in a line of business that is similar to any line of business to which the Executive provided services to the Firm in a capacity that is similar to the capacity in which the Executive acted for the Firm while employed by the Firm, and (B) “Competitive Enterprise” shall mean a business (or business unit) that (1) engages in any activity or (2) owns or controls a significant interest in any entity that engages in any activity, that in either case, competes anywhere with any activity in which the Firm is engaged up to and including the Executive’s Date of Termination. Further, notwithstanding anything in this Section 5, the Executive shall not be considered to be in violation of this Section 5 solely by reason of owning, directly or indirectly, any stock or other securities of a Competitive Enterprise (or comparable interest, including a voting or profit participation interest, in any such Competitive Enterprise) if the Executive’s interest does not exceed 5% of the outstanding capital stock of such Competitive Enterprise (or comparable interest, including a voting or profit participation interest, in such Competitive Enterprise).

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.

  • Intrascholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete with students from within the same school.

  • Development Activities means those activities which have been approved for the Project as set out in the approved Plans and Specifications and, generally, activities that are normally undertaken for the development, construction, repair, renovation, rehabilitation or conversion of buildings for residential purposes and include the acquisition of property;

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • Extracurricular activities means: a voluntary activity sponsored by the school or local education agency or an organization sanctioned by the local education agency. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, preparation for and involvement in public performances, contests, athletic competitions, demonstrations, displays, and club activities.

  • investment services and activities means any of the services and activities listed in Section A of Annex I relating to any of the instruments listed in Section C of Annex I;

  • Power production activities means any business operation that involves a project commissioned by the government of Iran whose purpose is to facilitate power generation and delivery, including, but not limited to, establishing power-generating plants or hydroelectric dams, selling or installing components for the project, providing service contracts related to the installation or maintenance of the project, as well as facilitating such activities, including by providing supplies or services in support of such activities.

  • licensed activities means things authorised to be done by the licence

  • High Risk Activities means activities where the use or failure of the Services would reasonably be expected to result in death, serious personal injury, or severe environmental or property damage (such as the creation or operation of weaponry).

  • Supportive services means social, health, educational, income support and employment services and benefits, coordination of community building and educational activities, individualized needs assessment, and individualized assistance with obtaining services and benefits.

  • Project Activities means the activities to be undertaken or Works to be delivered or Property to be contributed or provided by you, your approved Sub-Grantees or your approved sub- contractors as summarised in the Particulars and more particularly described in the Agreed Proposal for which Xxxxx is payable under this Agreement;
